Spinning

The Spinning Division at Danliris is integral in our capacity to provide our clients with a broad selection of yarns. Producing more than 91,000 bales per annum utilising 111,000 spindles, the division is organised into three units each specialising in a different type of yarn for varying market segments. Our focus on efficiency and quality control are core components of our spinning manufacturing services. Implementing these factors begins with sourcing the highest standards of raw materials from international suppliers — we source only the best cotton from the USA, Australia, and Brazil. As a company that can cater to the diverse needs of our clients, we understand the intricate details of cotton fibres and the impact various quality parameters have on our textile end-products.

IMG_6299

As a company that is expanding upon our spinning production process, our spinning units can manufacture a wide variety of yarn blends. These include:

Polyester Cotton Combed (Ne 30’s, Ne 45’s)

100% Cotton Combed (Ne 40’s, Ne 50’s)

100% Cotton Combed Compact (Ne 60’s, Ne 80’s, Ne 100’s)

100% Cotton Carded (Ne 30’s, Ne 32’s, Ne 40’s)

Furthermore, we have invested in the latest machines such as the Toyota RX-300 spinning machine in addition to new auto-sorters from Switzerland and automatic winders from Japan. Through this commitment, we can facilitate the production of thousands of varieties of ‘slub’ yarns which are increasingly used to make knitwear and home textiles. This further underlines how through our Spinning Division, we can adapt to provide your brand with a value-added service through which we can produce your distinctive product range.

Spinning Division

Unit I manufactures export quality yarns used by Indonesian companies as well as for our own in-house production.

Unit II is our largest unit within the spinning division; it produces yarn for the international export market and is renowned for its superior quality as the yarns well-suited to be manufactured into diverse textile products.

Unit III caters to the local demand for economically priced yarn and in the future we expect the capacity for this unit to grow further.

Through our Weaving Division, we have the capacity to produce woven strands that can be interlaced into different patterns. Adhering to our clients’ requirements, we select the finest yarns through which we examine all aspects of the material from the fibre type, its thickness, its strength, and how it will be spun — each variable will impact the final product. Once the yarn is selected, the amount of warp needed for the fabric is then calculated and our specialist technicians will monitor the warping process for any flaws or pulls; mending any imperfections.

Moreover, as part of our ongoing plans to diverse our manufacturing services, the Weaving Division has recently started producing Jacquard woven fabric. This type of weaving system allows for greater versatility and diversity in creating textured patterns; our facilities enable us to produce a vast number of patterns from stripes, to florals and polka dots. Available in a variety of fiber compositions and weight such as wool, cotton, silk, and linen — the fabric is also durable and strong.

Garment

With decades of experience in Indonesia’s textiles and garment manufacturing industry, the Garment Division at Danliris exclusively produces for the international market. We have formed longstanding relationships with some of the world’s biggest brands — Barbour, Ted Baker, Michael Kors, and Trutex among others — who recognise our in-depth understanding of quality control and high operational standards that have allowed us to have an export presence throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, as well as North America.

Through our garment division we produce:

Men’s Shirts

Women’s Blouses

Children’s Wear

Pyjamas

Printed T-shirts

Blazers

Jackets

Currently utilising more than 2,800 state-of-the-art sewing machines, our Garment Division has a production capacity of 7.5 million pieces per annum and can cater to complex and specialised orders making this division highly diversified. This means that we are well versed in working with companies of varying size from small businesses to more established larger companies and offer small batch orders.

After the pattern design has been confirmed, our team utilises a computerised model to enable total accuracy and consistency when making the patterns, sizes, and colours for each garment; the expense and time are also reduced compared to the manual designing. For garment components that require custom logos, our recently established embroidery unit caters to this need — this service is popular for in corporate uniforms — and is part of our creative suite of solutions that we offer to our clients.

Furthermore, the Garment Division implements quality control measures for moisture content to prevent fungal growth after the garments have been steam ironed. This is an important feature as part of our final inspection procedure through which our quality control team ensures that any possible defects are identified before packing and sorting. As the fashion apparel industry is characterised for its fast-paced cycles, our all-encompassing garment manufacturing service can help our clients stay ahead in this highly-competitive industry.

Dyeing, Finishing & Printing

Adding value to our fabrics through our Finishing and Printing Division has garnered Danliris a reputation as being the industry’s foremost specialist in developing novelty dyed fabrics, and printed batik and textile motifs in Indonesia. Supported by our in-house laboratory and professional staff, the dyeing and finishing unit has a capacity of 13.5 million metres of finished fabric per annum whereas our printing production capacity can reach 14.5 million meters per annum; making us one of the most proficient in the country.

Our Printing Division is fully equipped for:

Transfer Printing

Rotary Printing

Flat Printing

Foil Stamping

Advancing our printing capabilities are our highly-skilled textile design team who develop some 3,000-new batik and textile designs per year. Working in an integrated system with our textile production team, the textile design team has a clear understanding of the production process and therefore every new motif being developed has been well-researched to be viable for production. Through this, our batik themed textiles have been used to make corporate uniforms for leading local and international companies.

For our dyed fabrics, our laboratory develops colour formulas that accurately meet our client’s requirements. We also take into account factors such as the material used, reaction to washing and wear, and reaction to light when selecting the perfect dye; these important preparatory steps are essential to give a higher affinity for the dye to the material. We also undertake an ‘evenness’ analysis so that the textile dye can be applied evenly throughout the fabric, this can be attained by changing the controlling the dyeing conditions – this can include the adding of restraining agents to control the rate of the dyeing process.

IMG_6436

Furthermore, we undertake a mercerization process under high tension to improve the strength and affinity for dyes of the fabric — it also renders the fabric lustrous resulting in richer colours. Other attributes of the fabric also change due to this process such as its smoothness and a resistant silk shine. As an integral part of the manufacturing process, our Finishing and Printing Division have further enabled our company to diversify our production into higher-value textiles.

Dyeing, Printing & Finishing Division

We have a complete range of machinery to fulfil the following dyeing and finishing processes:

Continuous Bleaching Range

Mercerization

Continuous Dyeing Range

Weaving

Our Weaving Division at Danliris was first established in 1974 was one of the first operating units in the company’s history. Having experienced rapid growth since then, our Weaving Division has increased the size of its workforce in addition to modernizing the production process; we currently use 477 air jet loom machines to produce more than 55 million meters of unfinished fabric per annum. Furthermore, we also produce greige fabric which is sold to markets in Europe and Asia in addition to local buyers.

IMG_6351

Through our Weaving Division we produce:

Polyester Cotton Combed

100% Cotton Combed

100% Cotton Carded

100% Polyester

Polyester Rayon

100% Rayon

100% Tencel

Modal/Cotton

Dobby Weave

Plain, Twill, Satin, Oxford & Pique

Herringbone

Gingham/Yarn Dyed

Through our Weaving Division, we have the capacity to produce woven strands that can be interlaced into different patterns.

Weaving Division

Adhering to our clients’ requirements, we select the finest yarns through which we examine all aspects of the material from the fibre type, its thickness, its strength, and how it will be spun — each variable will impact the final product.

This is an example page. It’s different from a blog post because it will stay in one place and will show up in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this:

Hi there! I’m a bike messenger by day, aspiring actor by night, and this is my website. I live in Los Angeles, have a great dog named Jack, and I like piña coladas. (And gettin’ caught in the rain.)

…or something like this:

The XYZ Doohickey Company was founded in 1971, and has been providing quality doohickeys to the public ever since. Located in Gotham City, XYZ employs over 2,000 people and does all kinds of awesome things for the Gotham community.

The longevity of our operations comes from the longstanding relationship with our skilled employees. We keep a transparent line of communication with our labour union which is vital in understanding the needs of our employees as well as receiving constructive feedback on how to improve the company. Each production division appoints a representative who may voice any concerns within their division to the Secretary of the labour union — a position that is also democratically elected by the workers and comes with a 5-year tenure — before entering discussions with the management team of Danliris.

Spinning

The Spinning Division at Danliris is integral in our capacity to provide our clients with a broad selection of yarns. Producing more than 91,000 bales of yarn per annum utilising 111,000 spindles, the division is organised into three units each specialising in a different type of yarn for varying market segments.

Polyester Cotton Combed (Ne 16’s ~ Ne 45’s)

100% Cotton Combed (Ne 30’s ~ Ne 50’s)

100% Cotton Combed Compact (Ne 50’s ~ Ne 100’s)

100% Cotton Carded (Ne 16’s, Ne 20’s ~ Ne 50’s)

Tencel (Ne 50’s, Ne 80’s)

Modal/Cotton (Ne 50’s)
